The Victorias Milling Company, Inc. Distillery Plant is a manufacturer of ethyl alcohol and other related by-products. The plant was rehabilitated and put back in operation on November 11, 2011. Its rated capacity is 28,000 liters per day. The product is potable alcohol and can be used in the manufacture of rum and other alcohol spirits.
The plant has a 15 tons per hour coal-fired boiler, 5 MVA sub-station and a 1,200 kva standby genset for the supply of power. It also has anaerobic and aerobic waste water treatment facilities.
The distillery is located at Bgy. Purisima, Manapla, Negros Occidental, bounded in the eastern portion by Cadiz City and Victoria's City in the South. The distance is about 44.7 km from Bacolod City and is about fifty five (55) minutes from Bacolod City by private car. Manapla is a third class municipality with a total land area of 22,290 hectares, largely delineated for agricultural use and mainly for sugar cane plantation.
